What happens when rugged hypermasculine figures are cloaked in floral wallpaper? What happens when the wide-open virgin landscape of the west is replaced by the internal space of concepts or the living room? What happens when instructive illustrations are combined with decorative patterns?

DOGMA was created out of an effort to explore the cultural narratives that I experienced growing up in a town defined by its location in cattle country and history as an oil town. The frontier myth is based on several dichotomies. DOGMA explores the fragile edges of those dichotomies and imagines an alternate space of excess and possibility.
